Beloved Shoot on the Beach

The Beloved concept was started a few years ago by Jesh de Rox and is a new approach to portrait photography which aims to capture who you really are. It's much more than just a photo shoot, it's an experience allowing couples to re-discover their relationship, what they love about each other and why they fell in love in the first place. It's a unique and powerful experience.

I had the opportunity while on a family holiday in Tenby to try out some of the Beloved techniques with two lovely people who happen to be my brother in law, Rob and his partner Elin. We had a wander around the seaside town and settled on North Beach as the location. It's not often I get to do a shoot on the beach living in Cheshire - that was exciting in itself!

I will be offering all couples who book me to shoot their wedding the option of having a Beloved shoot as their pre wedding shoot. It's also a lovely thing to do for an anniversary if you've been together for a while and want to re-connect with your partner.
