Business Portraits for Alextra Group in Crewe, Cheshire

Here's some business headshots I took for Alextra Group in July this year. Alextra Group are a firm of Accountants based in Macon Court, Crewe. They help small and large businesses with their accounting and bookkeeping needs. I found out last week that their new website has just gone live so I thought I'd add some images here from their shoot. Aswell as the headshots and a large group shot of the whole company, they wanted some images showing a meeting taking place and the staff working together so their website included real people that work at the firm rather than stock images of unknown models.

I found some nice natural light just outside their offices in Crewe, Cheshire which I used to do the portraits, Alextra had specifically requested a more natural look and feel to the portraits rather than the more traditional headshot on a white background and liked my style of shooting using natural light outdoors. I took one person at a time for a few minutes to take the portraits so they weren't away from their desks for too long. It also meant that they felt more comfortable as they didn't have an audience while they were having their photograph taken!

The meeting room which we used for the rest of the images was nicely lit and uncluttered which was ideal for these shots. It often feels strange to the clients to start with when we are setting up these kind of shots, but we usually end up having a laugh and the images reflect them enjoying their work which is usually the aim!!

I really enjoyed this shoot, everyone at Alextra are welcoming, friendly and professional and I'm really pleased with how the finished images look on their new website.
