A selection of my photography work from 2019

To give you an idea of my photography style and to sum up my year, I thought I'd put together a selection of images of some of the fabulous people I have worked with this year.
I have been specialising in business headshots and branding shoots for a few years now but the odd family shoot and wedding has snuck in this year just for friends. I love shooting business headshots and capturing people at work, telling the story of their business and their personality.
A lot of people put off getting professional images done for their business, my aim is to take the pressure out of it and make it fun and relaxed. One of the reasons that people book me is that they don't have to go to a studio and have a background that looks the same as everyone else's images, they don't have to pose infront of lights, they feel less apprehensive if I come to their office, or we go outside somewhere or find a location that is relevant to their business. They don't need to take too much time out of their day if that is what they want.
It also makes it more interesting and challenging for me. I love the variety of images that are created and I love finding out more about my clients and what they do. It's a win win!
I've taken photographs on building sites, in theatres, at client's homes and offices, in beautiful outdoor spaces like Queens Park in Crewe, Marbury Park in Northwich, along canal towpaths and found great locations in and around small towns like Nantwich, Tarporley, Sandbach and Knutsford.
I joined the FSB, (Federation of Small Businesses), in January last year and have had great support from them and met some fabulous people from attending the FSB Connect networking events in Crewe and Congleton every month. I am still very much a part of BizMums, (child friendly networking for business women), and have been hosting a group in Nantwich for over 4 years. I meet most of my clients via networking and word of mouth recommendations from previous clients. I'm so grateful to everyone who has booked me for a shoot this year or has recommended me to someone they know.
I don't get much time to post on social media or update my website with running my other business with Tropic Skincare and looking after my family but hopefully this will give you a summary of my year! I absolutely love my job, both businesses allow me to meet amazing people, some of which are now very close friends, have great fun, allow me the flexibility to work exactly when I want, pick my son up from school and spend lots of time with my family and friends.
Looking back through these photos and the people in them make me feel very blessed and I hope to continue to grow and meet even more awesome people in 2020!
Thanks for reading this and if you'd like to find out more about my business photography packages, get in touch for a chat over a cuppa, it would be lovely to hear from you.
